Long-Range Laser Distance Sensors for Tactical, Aerial, Agricultural, and Industrial Use
Our long-range laser distance sensors operate based on direct Time of Flight (dToF) technology. This method measures the time it takes for a laser pulse to travel to the target and reflect back to the receiver. By calculating this time difference and applying the known speed of light, the system can accurately determine the distance to the object.Because the speed of light is extremely fast, achieving high measurement accuracy requires an exceptionally responsive timing circuit capable of detecting time intervals in the nanosecond range. This high-speed response enables fine resolution in time-of-flight measurement, which directly enhances the distance resolution.
